How much does it cost?

Each project is different and costs vary depending on what all needs to be done. On average, jobs range from $800-$2000. The overall cost often doubles if a ridge vent also needs to be secured. Again, this is an average cost and is not concrete.

Do you warranty your work?

Yes. All work is warrantied for six months after completion. Should any targeted animal breach an area that we have secured, we will remove the animal and repair the area at no additional charge. This warranty does not extend to areas of the home where we have not directly done repair work. When this warranty nears expiration, we can return to reinspect the home and extend the warranty for a fee. This warranty is voided if the balance is not paid in full.

What do you do with the animals that you trap?

Most animals are live trapped and are still alive when removed from the premises. Our permit with the DNR is very restrictive when it comes to relocating live animals to the point where the majority of them need to be euthanized.

Can I get rabies from bats/raccoons/squirrels?

In Michigan, less than 5% of bats that are tested are positive for rabies. This number is not zero, so this is a concern. According to the DNR, there has not been a positive case of rabies in a raccoon for 30 years. I have never heard of a squirrel with rabies. There is a population of skunks in the Detroit area that does carry rabies as well.

If you have been bitten by a wild animal or believe that you have have been exposed to rabies, contact your health professional.

Can I do my own trapping?

Sure, although it is often better to have a professional take care of it for you. When traps are set ineffectively, it trains animals to avoid them and makes it more difficult to be successful even when you set them correctly later. Secondly, when you catch an animal you need to do something with it. Michigan law is restrictive on what is allowed to be done, so consult local regulations to ensure that you are able to deal with the animal properly.

We service most of the mid/central Michigan area. Being based out of Owosso, we do most of our work around Shiawassee county but we will travel farther if need be.
