What is that noise inside my house? Is it a bat? Or is it a mouse?

Red squirrels once roamed my attic space. They were convinced that it was their place. Fighting and storing food for the winter, Chewing new holes, making many a splinter.   With a new generation born each spring and fall, Their population grew in no time at all.
